Time Gentlemen, Please! is apparently a time travelling adventure game. Maybe in the vein of Maniac Mansion Day of the Tentacle? Idunno.

Did you play Ben There, Dan That? It was on Greg Costikyan's Play This Thing blog, I think, and the first game you mention seems to be its sequel.
